This is a sampling of the photo collection from the surprise trip my fiancé planned to the Wildlife World Zoo in Litchfield Park, AZ this past weekend.

More photos can be found in my Flickr photostream set Wildlife World Zoo. Also, be sure to check out the videos on Youtube in the Wildlife World Zoo playlist, which include Ocelot kittens at play, a boa constrictor, baby Cotton Top Tamarin and Spider Monkeys, tiny turtles and more. Be sure to click on the “watch in high quality” link right below the video. It takes a little longer to load, but the HD-like quality is worth it!

Cool, but could you please answer me one little question. Are those monkeys doing what I think they are doing?

@Sire: I actually just thought it was a baby and parent. I could’ve been wrong… does this mean people are going to have to check yes for adult content? :)

No, I reckon it’s just my overactive imagination again. :D

I live right by the Wildlife Zoo. I got a really good picture of the turtles humping one year. I was laughing really hard and my kids were going “what are they doing?” Hilarious.

Very nice pictures !

My first visit to the Toronto Zoo was made memorable when the two African elephants decided to make a baby in front of atleast a hundred admirers. LOL !

I was only glad my nephew and niece decided they were fighting and did not ask any more questions.

Nice shots on the albino baby alligator… this guy is really green!
And the baby monkey spider is cute too, but he makes really weird noises :P

I saw some Lemurs in Montreal too, they are fun to watch! Those are really weird looking animals! =)

@Sire: Nothing wrong with that!

@Stella: I saw two doing that at the San Diego Zoo. I remember overhearing parents saying all kinds of things to their kids to explain what was going on. :)

@Jaffer: Two elephants… now that must be a sight to see.

@mrmuggles: All of the monkeys were noisy that day. I could hear them long before we got close enough to see them.

@Stella – “I got a really good picture of the turtles humping one year.” I seem to always catch them at it! The giant tortoises are the funniest!

You see Kristy, all you need is for some bloke to break the ice by mentioning some monkeys possibly doing the dirty deed and all hell breaks loose. :D

@Cyndi: Thanks!

@Sire: This is true. I didn’t realize how common turtle-humping was until now. :)

I suppose it’s because men just have to be men no matter what species they belong to.
