In the final installment of photos from the Desert Botanical Gardens, here are the butterflies inside the butterfly pavilion. I have never seen so many butterflies in one place, and even had the pleasure of one landing on my foot.

The Japanese Friendship Garden is an absolutely wonderful little Japanese garden, nestled into the downtown Phoenix area. It is beautiful, peaceful, and the perfect escape from the stress of daily life. If you are in the Phoenix metro area, I definitely recommend taking a stroll around this garden. The entrance fee is only $5, and more than worth it.

Fountain Park in Fountain Hills, AZ is the home of what was once the tallest fountain in the world, according to Guinness Book of Records. Not only is it one of my favorite places to visit when I am in need of a relaxing visit with nature, but it also holds very special memories, as this is the place where my fiancé and I had our first date and got engaged.




Last week, when I was shooting my macro photos of flowers around my office, I stumbled across something even more interesting. At first, I, along with the majority of my co-workers, thought it was some kind of strange spiderweb. But later, I found out it was something much more exciting and beautiful.
