Week in Review

This week, I have caught up on my posting schedule with the following:

Preview for the week of 6 July 2009

Next week’s photography will be images I took several years ago at various furniture markets. I found looking through those photos that I was experimenting with macro photography long before I knew the official term for it.

Next week, in continuation of the Benefits of Blogging series, I will cover how blogging gives you the ability to become an authority on a particular topic.

New Moon Parody

Thanks to the upcoming movie, G-force, guinea pigs are becoming quite popular. Here is a parody of the New Moon trailer… you’ll love the guinea pig cameo.

*Warning* If you’re sensitive to fake blood scenes, there is a part in here that over-dramaticizes the papercut in the New Moon trailer.

Hey Kristi,

I started to look at the watch waiting for your Fetching Fridays, I think you started some type of addiction here :-) Once again, thanks for the link love and I do remember your article about what to do when you can’t do it all, I really related to that one.

Have a great week-end :-)

Kristi,

A very nice inventory as always. I was going to write about the Google Algo change on backlinks according to the article you have called “The big Google Pagerank slap”, but will leave that for another day. :)

Hi Kristi,

I think Dragos said it well it the first comment. You seem to have created a bit of a phenomenon with Fetching Friday. Lots of people compile resources, but there is something holistic and synergistic about the way you do it. Anyway, I would rather enjoy it than analyze it. Thanks for another great edition and for the link love.

I’m starting a blog with a few friends. We would need multiple account access, ability to bring in custom graphics and art and monetization/adsense. I’ve looked at typepad a bit, but am concerned that it may not allow for much custom design look-and-feel. I really want the blog to look unique. At the same time, we are not all that techie, so an easty-to-use solution is important too. Also, when I try the trial it looks like it only supports one account? (I’d need multiple accounts). Thanks in advance for any and all help!
