#FollowFriday Recommendations on Twitter
Although I still notice the trend is in full force as always, it has now split between #followfriday and simply Follow Friday. Also, there have been articles on how Twitter killed #FollowFriday with the recent changes to the way replies work, leading to the #fixreplies backlash and an apology. So here are my #followfriday recommendations.

- @BWelford of Strategic Marketing Montreal
- @ExtremeEzine of aptly named Extreme Ezine
- @SharonMCP, one of the most influential women in social media
One more shout to last week’s recommendations: @nutuba, @SandraFoyt, @JoeTech, and @Websitewriters.

@Frank: I’ve been using Stumble as a tool for gearing up to my Friday posts. I stumble everything I like, so at the end of the week, I can just go through my favorites and choose the best articles for the end of the week. It has helped a lot.
@Jonathan: Thanks. It’s definitely still a work in process, but much better than before. I’m glad you find something useful each week!

Thanks for the feature
I don’t know how you manage to do all this reading and commenting and still come up with posts yourself.
It seems there has been a glut of WordPress hacks of late. I only ever heard of two personally before, but have seen 4 in the last week or so and my old school’s site was hacked, which is not using WordPress.
I love your fetching Friday posts! I always have to save them for when I have plenty of time to click through each link, and thus it becomes something I really look forward to

Hi Kristi!
Wow great new look to your site!!! The colors make it so vibrant and stand out great!
I love the list of great articles again, the one from John “It’s all about you” was really cool! It is fantastic to see how link love spreads!
Have a great week!
Hey Kristi,
Fetching Fridays are great! They’re always a great prelude to the weekend; your natural optimism and upbeat style really is a joy. Thanks for linking to the article about my grandmother’s 100th birthday. She had a great time!
Cheers,
Joel
nutubas last blog post..Happy Birthday, Grandma!
Hi, Kristi
This really very nice I am very impressed with it. I know your posts come on every Friday I am waiting for it badly.
@Salwa: You’re welcome.
@Debbie: I feel that way on certain sites… so much good information, but not yet enough time to apply it all.
@John: I certainly hope so. I think the videos are a nice way to end a information-rich article. And you’re welcome!
@Celes: Someone at my work sent me a few, and then I found myself watching a lot more. It’s amazing what they can do with the latest photography/video technology.
@Nihar: I will check it out. I think it’s a great way to end the week!
@Dragos: Some weeks are more challenging than others, but it’s just about budgeting time wisely.
@eyewriter: I actually wrote a guest post on Stumble. Hopefully if it makes it onto the site, I will be able to share. For me, it’s just about making friends in the Stumble community, and doing an equal bit of sharing my posts and stumbling posts from others.
@David: There are definitely lots of different script injections going around recently, and they are no longer limited to WordPress. Anything with PHP and Javascript seems susceptible now.
@Adrenalynn: I’m glad you are finding lots of useful links in these posts.
@Tycoon Blogger: Glad you enjoy it!
@How to Swim: I backup as well, but in this case, if you didn’t realize your site was hacked, you would write your backup with the malicious code included. I know of one site that didn’t realize their site was hacked for a month, and by that point, all the backups included the problem. It can really happen to anyone, if you don’t take as many security precautions as possible.
@Evita: Thanks! Yes, John does spread a lot of link love, showing how much he values his readers, which is one of the reasons his site is a good one to visit.
@Nutuba: Glad to hear that! I’m always amazed at the thought of people who have been around through so many changes in the world.
