    Kristi,

What amazing lists your Fetching Friday Mashups are. I can appreciate the work that goes into something like this. Thanks so much for including my “21 Things I Did to Get My Blog to Top 10 Status” post. Such an honor to make a list of yours. Now I’m off to check out these resources!

Thanks Judy! I’ve got my weekly list down to a system now, so it still takes a bit of dedication, but not as much as it use to. Glad to have found your post to include! :)

Always look forward to this post Kristi!

I think there’s been a lot of talk last week about Facebook and Pinterest taking over the social media niche, as I have been reading so much about them all over- and nice to see some new posts here as well.

Thanks so much for sharing, and the video is beautiful- love the color of the sky :)

    Kristi,

That infograph on the toll a commute takes on a person is a bit scary. My poor husband commutes long hours. I feel so bad for him. I always make sure when he gets home there is peace and a hot meal. I don’t want him to stress anymore and we can enjoy our night together.

Also, the article by Carol about the retirement for freelancers, awesome! You know, those tips can be for helping freelancers simply secure more financial freedom also. They were great ideas!

It is pretty scary Allie. I have been fortunate enough to start working from home, and I notice I’m a lot less stressed on a daily basis thanks to not having to drive almost an hour a day through traffic. Glad you enjoyed the infographics and articles! :)

    Hi Kristi,

Thanks for featuring my blog post in the roundup.

There’s always at least one piece, in here, that I find helpful when I swing by: this time it’s the Youtube guide. I’ve been doing video editing for some years now and have done video work for my past job but it’s been some time so I’m out of the loop with the latest features and analytics on the platform – this guide is certainly helpful.

I really liked the posts in this mashup. I especially liked the article about starting over with your current knowledge. I actually did that (: I shut-down my blog for about a year and just recently re-opened it. It’s really awesome being able to use your old knowledge in the same situation.

That’s awesome Joe! I took a blogging hiatus about a year or two ago, and it gave me a renewed vision of what I wanted to do a as a blogger that made a tremendous difference!

Thanks so much for the mention Kristi! After getting a few mentions in your round ups, it lets me know I must be doing something right :)

But honestly, when I step back and look at it, Fetching Fridays are really the work of a genius. Luckily we can be open & transparent about these things because you’re writing about what you teach, and looking at it, you put your money where your mouth is. Not only are you linking out to others on a consistent basis, but you’re getting great anchor text for your photography blog, you’re pointing to your social profiles at the top of every post, and most importantly, you’re giving everyone a recap of what happened this week for those who missed any of the action. Great to see someone who doesn’t just talk the talk but also walks the walk.

Thanks Jon! Fetching Friday has been evolving for over two years now, and I know that there are some people who visit my site only for this series. So I have to make the best of it! :)

Liked the bloggers guide to YouTube. I am definitely going to get on with creating some more video content. In my new office I am going to put my video camera on the tripod and have it permanently setup in the room to remind me to keep creating new vids.

Also, that photo of the week is amazing. (Of course.) I’ve always been fond of desert-type photos.
