I am glad to hear that your non-flu has come and gone at an opportune time. It seems milder this year than in years past despite all the scare tactics being employed in the media. Before being mandated to stop actually checking to see if people really had the flu, the numbers were running from 2% to just under 20% of cases tested actually having the flu. Normally I do not put much stock in CBS, but I do not think they would have just made those figures up. I do wonder why they didn’t color them in some other way, though.

Also, I can’t wait to dig into your links above. Some of them look really exciting.

Thanks for the great info. I’m definitely going to add some of the twitter tools when my site’s blog is up and running.
I’m new to your blog so you may have answered this at some point, I just wanted to know if anyone has gathered any data on if Google puts any emphasis on the ratio of ‘dofollow’ vs ‘nofollow’? It occured to me that perhaps instead of ignoring the ‘nofollow’ they compare it to the number of ‘follow’ backlinks. Anyway, thanks again. – Alan

Crazy weekend and am only now getting around to actually reading through many of the links above. Great stuff, as usual. Very helpful personal development links, which I generally don’t focus on enough. Also found the Blog Herald’s “5 Smart Legal Steps for Your Blog” to be some very good food for thought.
