DoFollow Resources

DoFollowAre you a DoFollow blog owner? Do you want to find DoFollow link building resources? DoFollow Info is a DoFollow blog directory and compendium of DoFollow resources which I will be adding to more and more, including DoFollow social bookmarking sites, DoFollow forums, DoFollow article directories, and how to use them. So if you have a DoFollow blog, come submit your link now – it’s free! If you don’t see a category that suits your site, just suggest a new one. Not sure if your site is DoFollow? Don’t worry, we’ll review it and give you tips on how to make it DoFollow.

Week in Review

This week’s posts have been more on the personal side. I would first like to thank Celes for the mention in last week’s Fetching Friday comments that she missed my non-techie writings. It kind of gave me the reminder that it is ok for me to be non-techie here as well.

My post on Monday was probably the most difficult to form, as it was a tribute to my kitty Merlin that we said goodbye to over the weekend. I have looked at that post every day, sometimes more than once, just to see his face again. We miss him so much.

Yesterday’s post, on the other hand, was quite rewarding. When nice doesn’t cut it is more of a building reaction to life. While I hope to be an overall nice person, and love nice people, it is obvious that nice people get taken advantage of. Not to say being a complaintive grouch all of the time gets you anywhere either, but it’s a matter of finding balance, and not being nice when you deserve something you are not getting.

Let Yourself Feel

This is a beautiful find by an awesome blogger that I had to share. The music by Olafur Arnalds is simply wonderful.

Well, thanks again for the mention, and I am happy to witness this series evolving from a round-up of what’s hot on the interwebs up to the solid resource that is now. Great work, Kristi :-)

I really like the “Take responsibility for your blogging” link, although it didn’t end up to be what I expected. I have made a lot of research on comments on blogs and media. I think that we should put a lot of focus on handling these comments and avoiding hate speech, etc.

As always this is a great collection. Many of these I have read during the week though some are new. That post on 5 Exceptions to Minimum Wage really made my blood boil as it seem like pretty scummy ways for employers to exploit employees. Can’t think of a better way to destroy any employee loyalty than this.

I appreciate your continued efforts with this post each Friday.

Hey Kristi,

Thanks for the link! You’ve certainly did a great roundup of posts for last week. I’ll need to look into the no follow thingy you are talking about. I have no idea about what my blog allows or is doing. I only know how to write and post but am not sure about the finer details of the running of a blog. Thanks for the pointer!

Kristi, this list has made my day. I cant believe it took more than 20 days to land here despite doing hours of search on google. I bet such resources are really handy for newcomers like me to find all info at one place. The Budweiser Vintage Ads being my most favorite, and I plan to work with that page on the weekends which helps me to pop up with some good branding ideas. I am going to refer one of my friend a graphic designer the 40 icon’s page. Needless to say hats off for putting this list that too on a Friday.

Mack McMillan

We can always depend upon you to come up with interesting resources on the web. I found myself enjoying old Budweiser advertisements. They don’t make ads like they used to! Hopefully we’ll get another good round of creative advertising when this recession is truly over.
