Related News

This week has been a busy one for me – so much that I had to buy a planner and actually use it to keep track of all my appointments!

Some highlights include:

For personal news, I also got a spiffy new haircut and I won with my respective partners 6-4, 6-5, 6-2 in tennis round-robin doubles.

Week in Review

This week, I was 1 out of 2 in the new article front with Benefits of Blogging – Becoming an Authority. Something that I should have clarified in the article, which I did later in the comments, was that I consider authorities people that are knowledgable on a certain subect. They don’t necessarily have to be professionals, but just someone that does do continued research and study on a specific topic, and shares that information with others.

Preview for the week of 20 July 2009

I’ve been wanting to do a run-down of all of the customizations I have done with my Thesis theme. I find lots of websites that have great customization work, but it takes forever to find all of the various websites to get the custom coding. So if there is anything here that you would like to implement on your own site, I will be doing a rundown of all the tweaks and code I used.

Slap Chop Remix

This will be the best infomercial – EVER. The YouTube video quality isn’t the greatest, but it’s the rap that makes it more than the visual. Especially when they get to the nuts!

Better video quality at TMZ.

Haha ! The Slap Chop and that too a remix !

There’s atleast one TV channel here that has just begun showing the slap-chop infomercial – but they’ve also added with it a free cheese grater where vince goes “Tacos… Nachos… Linguine… Fettuccine… Martini… Bikini”
Always cracks me up !

Hi Kristi always back for Fetching Fridays, I also felt the 100 Famous Bloggers article was excellent and included it in one of my articles earlier today, very creative.

You know you bring up an interesting question in regards to the Business card for your blog, I have never really thought about it, but with having two brick and mortor business’s and an online business it sounds like a great idea. I am curious to see what that article looks like so I can implement one in the best way possible, especially since I don’t recall seeing any on other blogs.

Great link list Kristi. Special thanks for the tilt shift photography link, I love the effect it creates, it really is hard to tell them apart from toys or models when the technique is used well. The picture of the assorted Fiat 500 cars is my particular favorite though they are all very good examples.

Yet another great round up of links! That slap chop infomercial is DA BOMB!!! I thought the video was jamming up on me when I first started playing, then I quickly realized it was a rap!! I thought the product is a little too small though. It’ll be much easier if it’s big and I can just slap chop everything away rather than portion by portion.
