Week in Review

This week’s main post was the second part of the WordPress Thesis Theme Customization, which focused on plugins to enhance the functionality of my theme. With exception to Thesis Openhook, the plugins listed work for any theme.

Preview for the week of 6 July 2009

Next week, in continuation of the WordPress Thesis Theme Customization series, I will cover the actual coding in the Thesis OpenHook, custom functions and custom styling section that create the menu, Tweetmeme, layout and more on Kikolani.

2nd Largest Aquarium in the World

This video just blew me away. For one, I love manta rays. And the music is perfect. To get the full experience, hit play then pause, and let it load fully before playing it through.

Hi Kristi, if you keep this up people will think of Kikolani instead of twitter when they see #FF. In fact, let me see if I can facilitate that!

You always put together such a great bunch of links Kristi and it takes way too much of my time to go through them all that I have decided to pick out the most interesting one, to visit the blog and to leave a comment. Today I chose Chings post about the move to Wordpress and I am pretty happy with it. Thanks for supplying the opportunity for another good read.

The more I read about it, the more I noticed it’s a highly recommended idea for social networking. Fetching Friday could be a trend, I think Jonathan has a point there. We all benefit from your compilation, to read and get discovered by new visitors, I think that’s a great lesson for all of us to share the info/love with each other.

It’s an honor to be picked by Sire. :-) Thank you, Kristie. If not because of your kind act, I wouldn’t get to know how extraordinary Sire is — gosh, he manages like 9 blogs?? I enjoyed visiting to his site, and that would not happen if not because of Fetching Friday.

Thank you, Kristie. You’re a blessing to all of us.

Wow, that aquarium is amazing, the fact that they have multiple whale sharks in there really gives you an idea of how huge it must be, they’re not exactly small fish! I like how the divers in there give it a ‘fishtank in the corner of the living room’ type feel, difference being that these divers are real!

Hi Kristi. Thanks for the shout-out.

And I absolutely love the aquarium vid. Wow! It was so spiritually moving. I’m going to post it too :)

Thanks again.
