Major Updates to Kikolani

As you may have noticed, I have been doing a lot of work on Kikolani lately. And it’s not just the theme. Be sure to stop by on Monday to see upcoming plans for Kikolani plus some other projects I have been working on.

Speaking of new projects, for all of you who are missing the freelancing links usually in Fetching Friday, don’t worry. They’re moving to my new blog for Freelance Blogging. Be sure to check it out the freelancing article roundup starting next Friday!

Share Your Best Blog Posts

Every week on Friday, I start a thread on the Social Media Examiner Blogging Club so members can share their favorite blog post of the week. It’s free to join, so sign up, find today’s best blog post thread, and share your proudest blogging achievement of the week!

Photo of the Week

Since it’s the first Fetching Friday since my maternity leave, I thought it would be fitting to share a snapshot from our newborn photo shoot. Say hello to Lucy! Click on the photo to see a few more pics.

Be sure to check out Jason Hines’ photography blog and Arizona wedding photography website for more photos. Also, be sure to follow him on Twitter @jasonphines or Google+!

The Internship

It’s Wedding Crashers meets Google. When I saw this trailer a few weeks back, I knew it had to be a Fetching Friday video choice!

  7. Hey there Kristi! Good selection of Posts to read. I especially liked the 7 Ways Writers can build online authority with Google + by Demian Farnworth. I have read a few articles about this topic, but he goes into a great deal of detail. I really think Google plus is going to be more important than Facebook or Twitter moving forward. Demian explains why it’s important to get +1′s on your content. I had no idea before. Google plus is going to be key for people wanting to establish a strong author rank with Google. This is a must read. Thank you very much Kristi!
