Photo of the Week

This week’s top photo came from my trip to Australia. One of my favorite parts of the trip was simply feeding the wallabies.

There really are so many great, natural things everyone could be doing to build links and boost their SEO if they put the effort into it!

That anchor text experiment at SEOmoz is really interesting. I love their correlation stuff but I like these controlled experiments even more. I’d have guessed that the diverse but relevant keywords would have worked much better but it’s interesting that the “click here” stuff shot up in ranks faster; maybe it was just indexed first.

Indexed first or some algorithm in Google telling them that links with that text are the ones that most are likely to click on. :)

    Hi, Kristi!
What a cute wallabie photo! Absolutely adorable!
As for the posts from your list, I like the one about reasons to put infographics with the posts. Really, it is something worth taking into consideration. No many bloggers use it and it can bring more traffic as it can be found in google search engine in more than one place.

As always Kristi, thanks for the lovely round up of resources. I did manage to get the courage up to nominate myself for the bizchicks contest.

All of the articles under blogging and writing are very appealing, so thanks!

Also, I am finding that I have already read some of the posts you have selected! Happy that I am finding some of these posts on my own.
