Now all I need is a studio and video director and I could be the next Internet sensation!

Hi Kristi,
Although it’s April 1st, some variety is always cool. As always there’s some great articles online. That I’ve seen around the blogosphere.
Enjoy your weekend.
Thanks
James
James recently posted Intrahost Fund Raising For Comic Relief
Hi James,
So you think I should mix in one random category of the week? Might not be a bad idea.
Hope you have a great weekend too!
Good one girl! You got me that time LOL!! I thought I was completely prepared for all of the April foolery that would be jumping off today but you still managed to pull it off.
Thanks for the laughs – and the time lapse is awesome too!
Ileane recently posted The Evergreen SEO- Acquire Offer And Analyze Linking
You’re welcome Ileane. I spent all day thinking about how to sneak it in subtlety and finally around 10pm last night it clicked.
good one… you caught me too:P
ontopic: I admit I didn’t read all the links (and who did?:) ), but regarding the 4 twitter tools. I don’t like social omph… and I’dd add another 2 tools. hellotxt which is a sort of twitterfeed, but it allows to add many more social sites (and maybe pingfm, but now their “feed your rss” isn’t working yet).. and a paid tool, tweetadder.. now it’s the version 3 and it’s really great to automate tweets, schedule, randomize, etc… of course, this is a sort of spam, but anyway, it can be used such as it doesn’t break the twitter TOS

Alex recently posted Zahnarzt Muenchen
I’ve heard good things about those two tools Alex… just haven’t tested them out yet for myself.
@Kristi I also used them. they are pretty good both of them, especially hellotxt, which is free:D tweetadder is great, but it’s paid. it can help you automate tweeting, following based on a keyword, unfollow and other useful tasks on twitter…. but you should be careful not to send the same tweets over and over again, because it might annoy your followers:) I got some bad feedback about this:D I set the same tweets, I just changed a few words each time.. but it was basically the same message… and it brought me some visits.. so it’s a great tool, especially if you have a lot of followers
Jake@Bani online recently posted Groom Wedding Speech
Hi Jake. I think that I have tried HellowTxt once a long time ago, but it wasn’t sending the messages properly so I just stopped trying it. Might have been a temporary glitch so I’ll have to give them another run.
That was a nice one Kristi.. I was really shocked by the first list… Thank God you haven’t done that seriously…

Jojo Mathews @Around Social recently posted Update Facebook Status via iPad 2- Andrioid- iPhone & More Without Having One !
Hehe.. although I did seriously recommend the first three comics, the rest are not in my usual area of interest.
Well, you definitely got me there Kristi. I was saying to myself, OMG Kristi just got hacked, lol. Have a good one and off to check some from the second batch
I don’t know that someone would spend as long as I did compiling those articles just to hack me. I hope not at least.
Hi Kristi!
Astrology, comics…I’m in a wrong place…thankfully I read more below
Now I’m seeing the regular #FF program and I’ll have lot of material to explore
Finally I’m beginning to blog in several days after a long and problematic migration from blogger to WP.
Enjoy a great weekend ahead
Cheers,
Gera
Gera@SweetsFoodsBlog recently posted 11 Mistakes Why Social Media Fails
Uh, sorry to hear it was problematic Gera. Did you write a post about what issues you ran into? It would be interesting for those who also plan on making the switch to know what they might encounter.
I’m doing right now a series of posts explaining in detailed all the process of the migration and the unexpected issues that appeared, it’ll be a little technical but hope it’ll be useful for others. After exploring the issues to solve them, I saw that these are normal bugs that take you for non-planned ways. My first “new” post will be all about it.
Btw when I was editing old posts I sent, without knowing, multiple pings everywhere (now solved with a plugin) – I didn’t know that was a WP’s ping-bug because in Blogger doesn’t happen. After that, few comments I’ve done on some blogs vanished immediately after press submit. I guess several blogs labeled as a spammer for those pings, then Akismet is treating me like that.
Every comment I’ve done and I see that disappears instantly (and it isn’t in moderation)….now I need to contact to every blogger in some way to let it know about it.
Cheers for You
Gera

Kristi I am not on my April Fools Day game today, I had to read the first section twice and thought to myself… wth is going on here?
Another great Fetching Friday!
Extreme John recently posted 7 Ways to Get Fresh Ideas for Your Business
Thanks John! I figured if I threw in a few off sections, it would be subtle enough to weird people out but not make them immediately think April Fools.
Fun fun fun. We so excited.
Kristi, great work on the April Fool’s joke
I’d laugh if the Twilight section generates some crazy amount of traffic haha.
In all seriousness, the most valuable one I’ve found here is the ’4 words’ for email because I’m going to be stepping up my contact with fellow webmasters to spur up some sales for my PLR website.
Also looking forward to going over the 50 things to give up; I’m already living quite minimal but it’ll be interesting to find a few other items so I can always stay focused.
Much appreciated and happy Friday Friday!
Murray Lunn@Start an Online Business recently posted Blog and Income Report- March 2011
That article on things to give up might surprise you Murray! Hope you liked it!
Hi Kristi,
Well, first of all – my congratulations with April Fool’s day! I hope you didn’t give play any tricks with us?
What concerns your resources, I like Ari’s blog and posts and also consider them great for sharing. Your resources on Twilight will be interesting for my sister. Once again – thanks!
Nothing too serious Anna.
Oh it’s a good thing I was watching as I was making a mad dash to the comment section. LOL
Dennis Edell@ Direct Sales Marketing recently posted Take Your Blog Commenting to Brand New Heights!
Hehe… I was wondering if anyone would have just read the first few sections and then came down to freak out in the comments.
Wow Kristi, that’s one heck of a big Mashup, or is that an April fool
only kidding, I’ll be checking out most of these during the next few days

Karen @ Blazing Minds recently posted Buffer – the no fuss way to queue your tweets
Hope you enjoyed them Karen! Even the silly ones!
Loved the article on advice from affiliate marketers! I feel like so often they either get a bad rap or just not the respect they deserve. In my experience they are the absolute experts on data crunching and conversion marketing. Great to see Mark giving them the respect they deserve!
Also, Platypi are super animals!
Platypi are great animals Kyle – I wish I had seen one in person in Australia. But alas…
Hi Kristi,
I love the American Idol bit. I’ve not missed a season and very few episodes since it began. Thanks for sharing the video. I heard about her but never looked it up. She’s cute and she’s good, no wonder she’s a hit.
PS I adore that silly Steve Tyler! Have a great Friday oh I mean weekend;)
Hope you had a great weekend too Tess!
That was the best April Fools on a blog today – for me. Great stuff!
As for the regular show – I really appreciate this link that talks about link building with photo journalism! That is the gem for me this week for sure. I took a quick look so far and it looks awesome. I’ve had that on the back of my mind due to some of the events I’ve shot as of late.
I like topics like that as I am in the works of planning things like that.
Scott @ iPad 2 for Photographers recently posted Integrating Instagram Photos into WordPress
Thansk Scott! I didn’t want to go overboard and make people believe something outrageous. Just a little something that would make people go… huh?
Another great mashup Kristi.Got lots of posts to keep me busy whole week.
Thanks Lakhyajyoti.
Kristi,
Variety is the spice of life. Plus by putting in a different category once a week, you’ll draw in a different readership and (hopefully) pick up new subscribers. @Tess, my wife is also loving Steven Tyler on Idol. She was skeptical at first, but thinks he is doing an awesome job. J-Lo has to go, though.
Charles@Luxury Henderson Real Estate recently posted Top 10 cities with Affordable Housing
I might try doing that Charles.
I was reading my RSS feed… and ??? LOL. That was a good one! And yes, I had to check out the Twilight wedding dress. Too bad no pics of it.
Christine recently posted Social Bookmarking to Increase Traffic to your Website
I have to admit I’m a Twilight fan, so it was a little fun adding those in here.
Wow, loved the timelapse video! Incredible!
Thanks Steve!
Thanks for the resource. Especially liked the photo journalism for link building, custom iframe tab for Facebook, and the 100 Free Tumblr Themes Of 2011. I’ve been thinking of Tumblr themes as an link building strategy for some time. Maybe it’s time to implement.
Chris Adams recently posted Tech Tip Tuesday- The Google Related Search Operator
Themes are a great way to build links as many people who use them won’t take the time to mess around with the footer coding and generally will leave the credit intact.
