For Photography Fans
I’ve finally lured my darling husband, Jason Hines, into the world of blogging. If you interested in photography (aka, like looking at awesome photos), then I invite you to check out Photo Ninjas where my husband and I share our photos with the world.
Between the two of us, he definitely has THE skills. After starting photography in November of last year, he has gone through three cameras and four tripods to find the right equipment (at least until the new Nikons come out). His ease with learning the ins and outs of image editing software has been as impressive as the great shots he’s taken.
So definitely take a moment to check out some great pics from Australia and Arizona, and be sure to subscribe or become a fan to keep up with our pictoral adventures around the world!
Movie of the Week
I don’t know about anyone else, but I can’t contain my excitement for this movie. This had better be a gazillion times better than Skyline, which was a major disappointment.
I also have the song at the end on my iPod. That’s how into this I am. You can view higher quality trailers on Apple.

A great list. I have been idle for a little while but need to get back into my blog. Hopefully these posts will give me the inspiration

They’re here every week for the inspiration!
I like the post about indexing new WordPress site on 24, although I don’t think it will take 24 hours as I have done this before many times, let’s say it will take up to 48 hours in many cases which is not bad at all! Also I don’t see any plugin necessary rather than the Google XML Sitemaps plugin, I used to submit my new blogs sitemap to Google webmaster tools right after creating it!
Another thing I would like to add is that posting more than one blog post on the new blog can help as it pings services!
Hesham recently posted 50 Traffic Sources You Should Milk Like Crazy
Good point.. I was going to try their method on my next site. I guess everyone will have different results. Good tip on the blog posting frequency.
Again a very nice collection Kristi!!
I really liked “9 ways to attract attention and comments” post. I can’t read few of them but I have saved them to read them later.
Thanks again Kristi.

You’re welcome Riya!
Thanks for all the good links. I think the, reward comments, suggestion on “9 Ways to Attract Attention and Comments” is a very good idea.
John Hunter recently posted Dishonest and Dangerous State Budgets
Yeah, I have tried some of those tips, and they definitely work!
Kristi, thank you so much for including me! This is the proof that everyone should read your book
I saw several posts here that I haven’t read yet, so I will have to catch up today. You always choose the ones I learn from.
The photo is very interesting! And about the movie – I saw the trailer, I am so not going to see it, lol. When they were promoting The Independence Day in my country, they made real news report about aliens coming. I was a kid then. Imagine my fear. Since then, I hate alien movies, lol, I know it sound weird but it was scary. They had footages of UFOs about some cities in my country, all news reporting the end of the world… what people won’t do for promo, RLMAO
Brankica recently posted 50 Traffic Sources You Should Milk Like Crazy
Sorry to hear about your bad experience with alien movies. I’m usually into the “end of the world” type movies, but my excitement is a bit dimmed in midst of the news out of Japan today.
Kristi, many thanks for once again featuring one of my posts.
I just came from reading Mavis Nong’s article over on DiTesco’s iblogzone.com site about getting good search engine results in the wake of Google’s Panda update. I’m one of the fortunate ones who saw a traffic spike from Google over the last two weeks, and I’m grateful for that.
I’m thinking about pulling the dozen or so articles I have over at ezinearticles.com, waiting a few weeks, and then posting them on my site. I get very little traffic from ezinearticles, and I don’t even have a backlink from my author profile.
John Soares recently posted Top 10 Tips For a Successful Teleseminar-Podcast Interview
You’re welcome, and that’s great to hear that you were one of the winners at the end of the update.
As far as article networks, they are probably less valuable to you there than on your blog, so that’s definitely a good idea!
I’m looking forward to following Photo Ninjas. I love the Desert Rose Trolley photo. Your husband has talent, and it’s evident in what’s been posted so far. Good luck with it!

Glad you enjoyed it Anu!
You’re right, Skyline was a major disappointment, so much so that I’m not even going to see this one until I hear reviews after the fact. Did you know there’s also a “mock-buster” movie being released today straight to DVD of the same title that has Nia Peeples in it? The things people do these days.
Mitch Mitchell recently posted Are You Ready For “Controversial”
Another week, another great list. I especially like that you included that 20 tips for Amazon link.
See, the best thing about what you’re doing here is that I would have never found that site, nor that post. I just bought another domain and I’m going to follow what he’s doing there. Good luck with your photo site, will you be sharing your progress on here?
I’m not revealing my niche until it’s all ready, I think it’s a good one though. Perhaps a little crowded, but that’s where SEO makes it happen.
Cheers Kristi! Have a great weekend!
