Miss Voting on Sphinn? Get SERPD!

For all of you who loved being able to voice your opinion about news in the Internet marketing and search engine world, but have sadly lost your say on Sphinn, why not check out SERPd! Created by Chris Burns and Gerald Weber, this new and quickly growing community is like the Digg (but better) for stories on SEO, PPC, SEM, Social Media, Link Building, Analytics, and much more.

The >staff at SERPD is pretty awesome too and includes some familiar names like yours truly, Kaila from Vertical Measure’s link building team, Hesham from Famous Bloggers, Ann Smarty, David Harry aka theGypsy, Jennifer Van Iderstyne, and Harsh from ShoutMeLoud. So if you haven’t already, check out SERPd now and start submitting and voting on your favorite Internet marketing news.

If you ever wondered what Kesha and William Shatner have in common, wonder no more. (Regardless of whether you like the song, or Star Trek, this person did a great job matching up scenes with lyrics.)

Perfect timing this week on the Fetching Friday, I needed that Ari Writer post about Press Releases. Not sure if you know but I have been working on another new business concept which is very close to opening here in Florida. Press releases have been common discussion here the last few days.

Kristi, thanks for the informative links. I haven’t thought about link compilation posts in my reading of blogs until now, but I realize that you and a few others help me to find some useful information and sites very efficiently. An intelligent and directed search engine of sorts that helps to expand my knowledge as well as my reading range. It adds to my perception of credibility in the author.

Hey Kristi, great stuff as always. It’s funny, I tried to write this style of post–not on the same niche, it actually takes quite a long time. Finding, providing some info, and linking to good resources is more time consuming than I imagined. I appreciate all of your hard work on the Friday mashup!

Thanks for mentioning SERPd. And also I am a massive Star Trek fan too. I didn’t have a father growing up and sadly was raised on Star Trek reruns. I idolized Kirk as my father figure and and proud to say I still hold many of the morals and themes that the show tried to teach about honor and friendship to this day.

It may be corny but Star Trek holds a special place in my heart.

Once again Kristi you’ve out done yourself! Another awesome Friday resources, I especially like the link building section this week as there are some really worthwhile articles in there! I also like the Personal Development section this week! I am not even sure what to think of that Startrek remix.. though whoever made it sure has talent, I’ll give em that.

Don’t every forget good landing page design with calls to action. Offer an eBook or Whitepaper in exchange for lead information. Let your prospects self qualify themselves!
