Fetching Friday – Resources Mashup, PageRank Updates & Funny Tennis

This post is part of a weekly series, Fetching Friday, featuring the resources mashup, PageRank updates, funny tennis, and the week in review at kikolani.com.

The Resources Mashup

Here are some of the best articles I have stumbledupon this week.

Business / Finance

Graphic / Web Design

PageRank Updates

PageRank updates have struck again. Although there is always debate on how much PR really matters, I was still pleasantly surprised to see that:

Dofollow Social Networks

This week I have been doing some updates to the dofollow social media networks page, removing some networks that are no longer dofollow (like all of the Ning networks and LinkedIn) and adding several new networks to the mix. More additions will be coming soon, so keep it on your watch list!

Week in Review

This week, I discussed how I took posts from Kikolani and branched them out into new blogs. Instead of moving everything to a new site, I moved selected posts from one WordPress to the next, quite easily.

So now all of my poetry has a new home at Fragile Poetry, and some of my personal discovery articles have moved to Artistic Gemini, which will also cover a mix of astrology, personality, psychology and more.

Who Says Tennis Can’t Be Funny?

These are outtakes of a commercial for the new Head tennis racquets featuring Novak Djokovic. Quite amusing!

Thanks for these resources – have a few of them open in tabs right now, really do like Sire’s post on the myth of dofollow stealing PR: he’s right to the point.

And yeah, I have to get around to using a backlink analysis tool someday. Congrats on the PR improvement – it’s really neat how it’s across the board.

Not that I worry too much about PR, but congrats on your PR Kristi, especially your Dofollow Blog Directory. That is very impressive seeing how new it is and all. I’m also impressed that you haven’t missed a step in keeping the Fetching Friday series going :)

Thanks again for the linkluv too Kristi.

Fetching Friday is indeed in a class by itself. Kudos to you for providing us all with this excellent resource. Thanks also for the link love. Learning SEO is definitely worth the time and effort as it does result in increased traffic via search engines. I’ve proved that to myself and hope to prove it to others as well. Have a wonderful weekend and best wishes with your two new blogs.

Thanks for the update. I knew PR was in the oven for quite some time, but as you pointed out, now it’s official. I finally got a PR 3 for my new domain dragosroua.com, I think it’s pretty ok for a domain which had content for only 3-4 months. As for the video, yeap, it was funny :-)

Thanks for the link love and looking forward to read the rest of the articles.

I read the post “how mobile friendly is your web design”.But honestly i don’t like to blog through my blackberry. I use my laptop for that. I use my mobile for some important mails that needs to be sent while i am on move. But yes it is good to have your website designed in a such a way that it should look good in a mobile device as well.

I really agree with some of your 50 timeless lessons in life. Life is so unfair…. Cry with someone. It’s more healing than crying alone…… Life is too short to waste time hating anyone.,….

but i don’t agree with you this. “It’s OK to get angry with God. He can take it.” You can’t be angry to our big boss… He knows everything what’s good and what’s not good for us..
