The Resources Mashup

Here are some of the best articles I have stumbled upon, retweeted on @kikolani, and read in RSS subscriptions this week.

Blogging / Writing

Business / Career / Freelance

Personal Development / Productivity

Search Engines / SEO

Social Media / Social Networking

Photo of the Week

This week’s top photo comes from an abandoned building in Queen Creek, Arizona. My favorite two things to photograph are wildlife and urbex, and I simply have not had enough of the latter in my photo activities recently.

Petting an Owl

My two favorite winged creatures are hummingbirds and owls. I’d definitely like to get this up close and personal with the latter!

  1. Hi Kristi
As always a lot of quality posts you are sharing here. I really like the one about SEO for Google+ Profiles and Pages. Made me change a couple of things on my own profile :-)

  2. I found the “Duplicate Content in a Post-Panda World” via SEOmoz rather educational as well as intriguing.
It actually took me about 35 minutes to fully read, and re-read again some bit to understand it!
At least now I know how to find duplicate content within my site.

    Also..
“Contrary to what some people believe, cross-domain duplicates can be a problem even for legitimate, syndicated content.”
So it’s like one could write “content king” thinking it’s unique and it can be picked up as duplicate.
    interesting…
