Fetching Friday – Resources Mashup & Scared Kitty

This post is part of a weekly series, Fetching Friday, featuring the best posts of the week in blogging, making money online, SEO, and social media on kikolani.com.

The Resources Mashup

Here are some of the best articles I have stumbled upon, retweeted on @kikolani, and read in RSS subscriptions this week.

Blogging / Writing

Business / Career

Graphic Design / Web Design

Personal Development / Productivity

Search Engines / SEO

Social Media / Social Networking

Conversion Fest Going Strong

Blogging Contest

Measuring Social Media ROI & Goal Conversions with Google Analytics 5 covers the often discussed topic of how to actually measure your social media campaign’s return on investment (in monetary terms) and how your social media campaigns lead to conversions on your website.

As of right now when I’m compiling this post, my top competitor and I are neck and neck which means it could go either way. Promotion for our posts is only for two weeks after they go live, which means I only have until August 15th to cinch my spot at the top.

Any support is appreciated, especially:

  • Comments with any questions or thoughts – these count for double the points!
  • Tweets and Facebook likes using the buttons below!

Also, a HUGE THANKS to everyone who’s supported me so far! I wish I could thank everyone individually – I have tried on Facebook and Google+ but the response so far has been pretty enormous which is an awesome thing! I can’t tell you how lucky I feel having such a great community like the one here! :)

Photo of the Week

This week’s top photo came from the local wildlife zoo. I believe this little guy was watching some large goldfish (?) swimming around the surface. Wonder what he thinks of them?

Smile With Love

Be sure to check out my photography blog for more photos (I post new pics Monday through Friday) and follow me @kristihines for my photography tweets or become a fan of Photostry on Facebook!

Scared Kitty

I’ve had a lot of cats, but never seen any of them do this!

Don’t Miss Out on Fetching Fridays!

    Hey Kristi

Some great links here as always – it never ceases to amaze me how many great links you actually get. I always stop here on a Friday to catch up with your reading and read some posts that otherwise I wouldn’t get to.

And thanks for including a link to my reverse engineering of Pat Flynn’s Smart Passive Income blog. Appreciated.

Thanks Gera – it did take a good bit of time write that up, but it was well worth it! Hope you have a great weekend too! :)

OMG, I almost fell of the chair seeing this cat. Imagine that level of fear where she doesn’t know what she is doing, hahaha

Kristi, thanks so much for featuring me in the list, it is always a pleasure and an honor. There is not much to say on lists like these besides one big thanks.

I opened 3 posts from here that I haven’t read and I think I can use now, and I see two that I will save for later, when I start doing what they are suggesting.

I know… that cat looks like it was being picked up by an invisible hand or something. And you’re quite welcome Brankica – it’s a great series for anyone looking to make their blog rock! :)

    Thank you, Kristi!

Your lists are amazing. I always find a ton of new blogs to follow when I read your Fetching Friday articles.

I like that you add the Personal Development / Productivity section. I mostly follow web design and writing blogs, but it’s really nice to sit down every once in a while and read something that might give me some new perspective on how I run my life.

OH MY GOD! THAT CAT! I’ve never seen that before. I’m laughing hysterically right now. Really good post on Search Engine Land on assessing site quality. It’s becoming more of a thing to be conscious of now a days.
