Awesome Post this week Kristi. Love the Kitten video, they are so adorable (even though i normally don’t like cats…)
I especially liked the one about using the blog archives. That is one untapped resource that many people forget to use.
James recently posted Secrets to Creating Wealth
I didn’t think I liked cats until I got my first two. Now I couldn’t imagine my life without one. And the blog archives is one I need to go plucking through myself!
Kristi, thanks once again for featuring one of my posts in Fetching Friday.
And I’ve been reading this blog and following what you’ve been doing with blogging and social media over the last year. You are excellent at getting your blog posts in front of interested eyeballs, probably better than anyone I know. I’m sure Blog Post Promotion: The Ultimate Guide will be top notch. (I just signed up for your list.)
I do hope you take some time off from the computer this weekend.
John Soares recently posted Get Permission to Use Copyrighted Photos
You’re welcome, and I appreciate your support of my upcoming ebook. Unfortunately, this weekend will be pretty much all on the computer cause of those “final touches” that I have to work on to get it ready! But I’m sure it will be worth it.
I LOVE the kitty!!! That’s just awesome, but I’m sad that the kitty never really caught the feathers…I’m sure he’ll keep trying…
Now I wish my day was done and I can go play with my kids.
I’m finally getting back into the swing of blogging and networking, and your posts every Friday have helped me find some great people. Thanks for continuing this series, I’m looking forward to every Friday’s post now.
Cheers!
Yeah, I was hoping he’d get it eventually too.
Good luck getting back into the swing of things. I know from experience that can be tough, but there’s always a great audience out there to reconnect with again!
I’m going to check out the monitoring your brand online amongst some of the other as well, after I’ve typed this comment, I think I’ve become a bit of a brand with the Blazing Minds names so it’ll be good to check that one out

I always miss my cats when I’m at work, especially when I see videos like that!
Hi Kristi, how do you compile these amazingly useful list each and every week? Me thinks you are an RSS reading master:) Hugely proud I made the grade this week. Thank you!
Tanya, I don’t have a cat because we’re renting a house right now but I adore them and am always going to visit friends because I want to snuggle their cats!
Right off to tell all my friends about this now. xox A

The process entails going through the posts I have tweeted throughout the week, my RSS reader, Alltop, and other various sources so I make sure I get a good variety.
Nice collection of articles. I found the seomoz article on tweets interesting. It looks like SEO can take a turn soon. Personal I am not to exited for this. I think tweets will be manipulated amd traded if it becomes a important SEO factor.
Tweets, sadly, are already being manipulated and traded simply for the “social proof” when people show the counters and such on their pages. As with anything though, either Google or Twitter will start figuring out a pattern and finding a way to fight it.
Another great Fetching Friday as always Kristi. It looks like you have some good articles for Blogging / Writing, and I can’t wait to check them all out.
By the way, that video of the kitten would have melted my mothers heart. She loves kittens, and the one in the video was adorable. Thanks for sharing

How to get permission to use copyrighted photos is extremely important. I know one blogger caught off guard receiving bill of sorts for $400…he had no idea he did anything wrong.
Dennis Edell@ Direct Sales Marketing recently posted The Scrolling Homepage- A Sticky Tactic You Haven’t Heard…
Ouch. Yeah, it’s easy to just go out and grab images off of Google and not worry about it, but you have to be more careful than that, which is why I had to share that article!
Another great list of resources, Kristi. Thanks for all of your hard work putting this together. This video is hilarious, but I couldn’t help but think that the poor kitten was Charlie Brown and the lady with the cat toy was Lucy pulling away the football.

Brad Harmon @ Big Feet Marketing recently posted Making Footprints- Volume 1 Issue 3
Thanks Brad! Yes, I’m hoping that after they wrapped up filming, the kitten got the last laugh with the toy!
Wow! nice list Kristi.

I opened a few links in new tabs to go explore.
I also got an idea for a new blog post, as I have never thought of compiling a list of great articles as a post.
I have a couple of great articles on my blog you may want to write up like Keyword research and Google Analytics come to mind.
Glad I found you. Now to follow you on Twitter and Facebook
