Posts must be a minimum of 1,500 words with appropriate sub-headers and short, easy-to-digest paragraphs.
Posts must include images. These can be Creative Commons with attribution, purchased stock images, custom images made with Canva, or screenshots created by you.
Posts must be well-written in near perfect English. Editing with Grammarly is highly suggested.
Posts should not contain excessive self-promotion. You will get the opportunity to share one to two links to your website, blog, or social profiles in your author bio.
Posts and author bios should not contain affiliate links.
Guest bloggers must agree to participate in the comments for their posts for up to two weeks. Otherwise, all author bio links and personal links will be stripped from your post.
It is highly advised that guest bloggers promote their content to their social networks as a popular post is good for you and Kikolani.
To become a regular contributor on Kikolani, you will need to submit the Guest Blogger Application. Only applications sent via this form will be considered.
If your application is accepted, I will create a WordPress account for you on Kikolani for you to submit your content. Content must be formatted according to the guidelines and similarly to the content you see throughout this blog.
The article that you write for Kikolani must be original. This means that you wrote it, it is not a spun article, and it is not published on any other website, including your own. I will check.
I reserve the right to make edits when needed, including adding editor’s notes to the content, removing excessive self-promotion, removing content I feel would not benefit my audience, and using my own affiliate links to products you mention if I am an affiliate for the product.
You reserve the copyright to the content itself. While I like to maintain exclusivity for the content for a minimum of two weeks after it is published on Kikolani, you may publish it on your blog or elsewhere after this time period.
Reciprocal Guest Blogging
While I would love to be a guest blogger on your website, I am only accepting freelance (paid) writing opportunities at this time. Please visit my freelance writing services page if you need content for your blog or business.
