These are photos from our last stop on Sunday before returning to Phoenix, Siegfried & Roy’s Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat in the Mirage hotel. We could not resist with the promise of tiger cubs and a new baby dolphin named Bella.

Kikolani is powered by Thesis. Why do I love this theme? It offers a framework that is ready to use, right out of the package. If you want to customize it, all of your customizations are in two files as opposed to all throughout the files of the theme. So if anything happens, and you have to update your theme, you do not have to worry about where all of your customizations are.
Still not sure about Thesis? See what you can do with it, then decide.
BREAKING NEWS: The price of the upcoming Thesis 2.0 developer's edition is rumored to increase from $164 to $297 USD! The personal edition (currently $87) will increase as well to an amount yet to be disclosed. Get Thesis now (or upgrade to the developer's edition now) before the price jump!

Llamas? Hump-free camels? No matter, super cute. I think they’re giving that wee tiger a run for his money!

Oh, I love the shot of that big puddy tat. Makes me want to just tickle it under the chin, and I would too if I could be assured of getting my hand back in one piece. These are really good shots Kristi

Wow! those pics are beautiful. I bet that had to be a fun trip or stop as long as you don’t go and play with the animals upfront.
Why people insist on messing with those large beast is beyond me. You would think they would learn their lessons, but hey, whatever floats your boat I guess.
Thanks for sharing!

I like the tiggas! Lol.. White tigga is so cool. Too bad some tragedy happened with a white tiger in my local zoo recently.

@Sarah: They are alpacas! I fed one at the local zoo, and they are so cute.
@Sire: Thanks. Actually, right before I took this shot, one of the staff was playing with him. He left in one piece.
@Justin: It was luck that I caught it popping out of the water at the right moment.
@Freddie: I think some people just see them as large cats. Cats can be temperamental at times, and the bigger the cat, the bigger the injury. But animal lovers believe that they are good-natured at heart, and go with that. For example of a reason animal lovers are the way they are, see this video about the lion reunited with his owners after a year in the wild.
@Ben: Tragedies are likely to happen with any animals. One of my house nearly sliced my wrist open once while jumping, and then sliding down my arm. I can only imagine a bigger cat trying to do the same thing would’ve taken my whole arm off.
I always love wild, and I think the photo of the lion is priceless. Nice photography skills. Mind to share what kind of camera you used?
The picture of the baby tiger is probably my favorite. Siegfried & Roy’s Secret Garden looks like a pretty cool place to visit.
There is a farm by my home where they have alpacas and they are certainly very cool looking animals. I have more experience with Llamas though, because the people that owned my old house had a retired petting zoo. I used to go out there all the time and look at the Llamas. They are very cool animals.

Wonderful Pics
@Lob: Thank you! These were taken with a Fuji S5100.
@Steve: Yes, it is quite nice. Llamas are fun… I went to a petting zoo, and this baby llama followed me around, without being too push, wanting snacks. It was sweet.
@Vihu: Thanks!
