@John: I think I’ll eventually get it on DVD. I love Youtube clips, but it’s hard to watch things all the way through on the net with my internet connection.

I’d like to recommend Meerkat Manor too. It was a must watch for me when it was on the tv… much more interesting than the regular soaps. I’m sure there’ll be clips of it on YouTube.

@MikeC: I haven’t seen that. It has been one of those books on my “to read” list of classics. I feel like I didn’t appreciate many of them during high school via my use of Cliff Notes.

It is an interesting show. There are two gangs of meerkats and they’re rivals. Ever read or watch Watershed Down? Just not as brutal and violent. It is interesting to show overall. My dog looks like a meerkat. Her name is Girl.

@Rebecca: I take lots of pictures of them and the prairie dogs. They just seem so chock full of personality!

@Kim: That is pretty funny. Associative thinking at it’s best.

@Russ: I think it depends on the time of day. I’ve been to the zoo on days where I didn’t see any of them, and days where they were out in force. I also think they are sneaky and sometimes pose just long enough to get your camera ready, and then they run. They are fun though!

So cute! Especially the one who looks like he is sitting up.

The Director where I used to work was kind of a weasel but had some decent qualities so we referred to him as a meerkat. This photo made me laugh thinking about him.
