Here are some photos from a surprise trip my hubby planned to Mt. Lemmon in Tucson, Arizona a few weekends ago.
If you enjoyed these, be sure to check out some photos from our first trip to Mt. Lemmon last September.

Kikolani is powered by Thesis. Why do I love this theme? It offers a framework that is ready to use, right out of the package. If you want to customize it, all of your customizations are in two files as opposed to all throughout the files of the theme. So if anything happens, and you have to update your theme, you do not have to worry about where all of your customizations are.
Still not sure about Thesis? See what you can do with it, then decide.
BREAKING NEWS: The price of the upcoming Thesis 2.0 developer's edition is rumored to increase from $164 to $297 USD! The personal edition (currently $87) will increase as well to an amount yet to be disclosed. Get Thesis now (or upgrade to the developer's edition now) before the price jump!

Hi Kristi,
Glad to here you got to visit beautiful Mt. Lemon. It was much nicer before all the fires. If you didn’t get to see Sabino Canyon, at the base of the Mountain you should check it out in cooler weather.

Wow, what a view from up on those rocks, stunning! I especially like the image with the car on the road below, really gives an idea of how vast the landscape is.

I’ve been through Tucson many times when I was an over the road truck driver and never seen those views. I wish I had taken the time to look around when traveling. Great photos Kristi, you really have an eye for great shots.

Interesting place. I hope I can travel to Arizona sometime. By the way, very nice shots you took, especially the last one. It’s so sweet.
Yes Mt Lemmon is a great place to get away. Nice pictures you have taking, I have been busy with lightning and sunsets for the last couple of months in Tucson. Last weekend looks to be the end of the monsoon season so I will be getting out to places like Mt lemmon to do more photography.

Oh wow these pictures are pretty – I wish I could take photographs half as good. I like the “portrait” of that pinecone-like thingy a lot; it has a lot of colors and textures that, when I look at the other photos, makes me feel it is more “earthen.”
