I used to experienced frequent sleep analysis and they were usually caused by stress. Like you, there were even time when I'm in an half awake-half asleep state and I could tell that I'm going to have sleep paralysis. I would force myself to stay awake, but the drowsiness was so overpowering and just closing my for a second was enough to put me to sleep. Then the nightmares will begin. My only relief was if I was able to move my fingers, then I will wake up. But then, if I sleep again after a few minutes, I will fall back into sleep paralysis again. It's crazy but it's been a while since I had one. Probably because I'm not as stressed out as I used to be.

Pls don’t worry, I just want to remind you this is your universe, do not let anybody or anything think otherwise. You have your free will, USE IT. I am using my free will to let you know about this because I live in a universe of my own, just like you live in yours. It may seem both universes are one so to speak but they are not, they just touch each other without melting with each other. The division is subtle yet unbroken unless you want otherwise. But we both have to agree on that, both of us have free will and we both have the right to use it.
You have 5 doors that open to this universe of yours, your five senses. Just close the doors by doing this (you can say it out loud or think it, it is very powerful it will work every time):

I don’t want to see anything I don’t want
I don’t want to hear anything I don’t want
I don’t want to smell anything I don’t want
I don’t want to touch or be touched by anything I don’t want
I don’t want to taste anything I don’t want.

I have my free will and I am using it now. Obey, this is my universe, you are not welcome.

Simple, but it works. If you believe in God(Allah, Jeovah, Budha, etc) it is great, also think no one can take your soul but your creator, if that is what you want to say, if that is what you want to allow; but bear this in mind, your creation was based on love, good, not evil.
Your free will was a gift from him/it contemplating all possibilities. Also remember you are responsible of it.

When I was younger I used to do a lot of research about paranormal stuff, never played with those things though. But I study a lot about them.
I have sleep disorders since I was a child, I could keep myself awake all night, I used to watch lots of sunrises through my window. LOL

One night I had this dream, I was on my bed and a “thing” (call it whatever you want, to me it has no name and I won’t give it power with a name) was behind my door. What I knew was it was evil and was there for me. I got completely scared and terrified then another entity came (man-shaped), this was more shocking because it had huge round purple eyes swirling and staring at me, he sat on my bed then with a man’s voice that revealed he was truly disappointed he asked me: Barbara, why do you do this to me?, I remain silent, and I was so embarrassed because I had never prayed to him or anything. I knew it was Uriel, he didn’t say I am Uriel, I just knew it. I even forgot “the other one”, when I looked to the door, it was gone and all bad evil energy with it. Then there is little I can recall after that, but in the instant he said that to me I promised to him I wouldn’t look or do any research about “the evil ones”. I kept my promise.

I have also read that if you have this feeling of paralysis, not to be afraid. You are having an OBE, but if you have this evil-not right-feeling, follow your instinct, this is not good. Close the doors and don’t let them in.

Again, this is your universe, you have free will. Once I read that the most dangerous thing is to allow whoever or whatever to make us think we don’t have it. So be careful and trust yourself. YOU DO HAVE FREE WILL AND THIS IS YOUR UNIVERSE, REMEMBER THIS FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE.

Que Dios (tu creador) te bendiga./ God bless you.

This happened to me a lot as a child. I remember sleeping over a friends house, next to her in the bottom bunk because we were kids and at the time, I didn't like sleeping alone (I also had lots of horrifying nightmares growing up, I'd sleep walk, and I'm fairly certain I suffered night terrors, it was pretty unpleasant), and I recall waking up and being paralyzed. I had no idea at the time, being 9 I think, what sleep paralysis was and I actually thought something horrible had happened to me, like a stroke or something, that I was somehow paralyzed but I thought it was permanent. I tried to yell out, I was terrified, and I felt so scared. I was trapped in myself. And that's horrifying at any age, but as a little kid? It was awful. I do remember that first time it happened that I kept "calling out" for help, though no words came out and my mouth didn't open, until I managed a barely audible whisper. I still kept trying until I was able to talk and move again and there was comfort and relief that whatever just happened was over and only temporary, but still, it's such a horrible experience. So I completely commiserate with you over it. People who haven't experienced it have no idea how horrible it is. I actually think that was my first truly horrible experience with it, though I'm positive that it happened once before but it luckily was brief and I fell into sleep soon after. The real first time, I was falling asleep and I saw a ragged, shadowy, ghost like image in my doorway that approached me and my eyes closed and I fell asleep. That second awful time it was a waking up hallucination that was entirely ominous and upsetting. Anyone can have this, but I think that there's a higher incidence among those of us who suffer other sleep issues, like nightmares and night terrors and sleep walking. I'm glad you've been able to get the attention of your fiance to help you wake up, but even if you're with someone, right next to them, it's such an effort to get their attention. I've literally felt like I've been screaming in my mind and my mouth barely moves at all. Hopefully science will figure out the real culprit instead of just attributing it to sleeping position since that's not always the case (the lying on the back thing, because often times I sleep on my side). Maybe we'll be able to stave off recurrences or at least end them sooner so as to diminish some of the trauma they cause. Because it can be debilitating fearing going to sleep. You need sleep and it feels good to sleep when all goes well, but the anxiety that you'll be paralyzed is so overwhelming at times that it does make sleep daunting at times. I luckily haven't had a relapse in a bit, but I'm always prepared that I will. Sometimes I've had issues where I sort of have gone into a bout of sleep paralysis but luckily I fall asleep soon after and it's ok, or I wake up and it's ok. Such a creepy thing. Thanks for the post. :)
