Hey Kristi, was browsing through the life category of your blog and I came across this, first of all, sorry to hear what happened, that is quite terrible. I wanted to contribute something here because I had something similar happen, not suicide, but a close friend of mine was involved in a fatal car accident. The reason why it relates is, he was a guy who was full of ideas and dreams, we would talk everyday about the future, what we want to to, how successful we can be, and how he will change the world with great ideas, and then his life was cut short before he had a chance to do any of that. From that, I kind of had a different outlook on life, it made me do things I normally would hesitate or wait on, because now I know how fragile life can be.

Ouch that really sucks. Death is always hard no matter what cause you always think could I have done something if I did this would this not have happened its hard to go threw and to think about but the thing that keeps me going is remembering that I should be happy and not sorrowful cause this person died. I should live so that their life meant something special and happy not mourning.

I'm sorry to hear what happened to your friend. It's true we always take for granted for the triviality of life till we are sorry.

I am so sorry! That must have been a terrible shock.

Do NOT feel guilty, OK?

This is an important message. I make it a point to kiss and hug my family members each morning when they leave the house and tell them that I love them.

Sorry to hear the sad news. I agree fully, a few kind words do go a long way. And almost all of us are worrying ourselves to death about one thing or another.
