@Kim: Maybe because you like a more stable climate zone? It is kind of fun when I am outside playing tennis at 80F, then I look across the freeway on the drive home and there is snow on the mountains in the nearby distance.

Arizona amazes me. You can be sweating in the desert and then playing in the snow in a couple of hours. I often wonder why I left.

@Justin: I have never been in snow up to my knees & higher like there was in Flagstaff that weekend. It was definitely fun!

@Mountain Pictures: I liked that fact. It did seem a little odd, because even on the drive up, there was much more snow on the ground than the nearby hills and mountains.

@Sire: I think the one on the left was my angel, and the one on the right was by my fiancé. It was pretty chilly, but we had already been tackling each other in the snow, so we were used to it. The funny part was after running around for a bit, you actually can get sweaty, even when it’s so cold.

OK, I just have to know who it was that made those impressions in the snow where you waved your limbs to get the wings effect? Whoever it was it must have been pretty damn cold. I like your snow foregrounds. It seems a bit odd that the mountains have less snow than the foreground.
