What is Social Bookmarking?

Social Bookmarking is storing, organizing, and sharing your favorite links (websites, articles, posts, news, products, etc.) online with a community.

What are the benefits?

When you bookmark something to your internet browser, your favorite site is only available to you on that machine. If, however, you bookmark your site online, your favorite sites are available to you at home, work, school, and anywhere you have access to the internet.

For example, you can have a personal account that you share your favorite links with friends. Or you can have a work account to share business link resources with co-workers.
