Here is a sampling of some of the critters I see around Arizona. These were taken around my office, apartment, the Desert Botanical Gardens, and on a recent trip to Mt. Lemmon in Arizona.

Kikolani is powered by Thesis. Why do I love this theme? It offers a framework that is ready to use, right out of the package. If you want to customize it, all of your customizations are in two files as opposed to all throughout the files of the theme. So if anything happens, and you have to update your theme, you do not have to worry about where all of your customizations are.

BREAKING NEWS: The price of the upcoming Thesis 2.0 developer's edition is rumored to increase from $164 to $297 USD! The personal edition (currently $87) will increase as well to an amount yet to be disclosed. Get Thesis now (or upgrade to the developer's edition now) before the price jump!

As always I love your photos. I like the rabbit picture the most, it reminds me of dinner. I never ate a rabbit before but would love to eat one. I hear they taste really good.

Those are some neat shots, I love animals and being out in nature in general.
I was working at my desk yesterday and the dog started barking, so I looked outside and there was a beaver walking down the road. It was pretty neat. I see a lot of deer where I live as well.

It is good to see that you still have a nice diversity of wild animal life in Arizona. Where I live it is pretty devoid of wildlife due to too many livestock farms
Those sand squirrels look sweet. They are like mini-meerkats.
I thought the little lizards we had here in Florida were pretty cool when I first moved here, that lizard in the third picture would easily swallow the largest lizard here. Great pictures Kristi, as always thank you for sharing.

Thanks Kristi, I send your url to my friends. they like it very much and say thanks to me and you for these nice photos. They admire it very much and decide to go for a jungle camp to see wild life closely.
Oh, what is that among the rocks? Such a lovely gesture! Is it looking for its mother? You have taken so many beautiful, natural pictures!

I like the rabbit… But i hate reptiles…
Thanks for showing this images they’re very lovely.
Kristi, just as a matter of interest, are you the sort of girl who feels squeamish about frogs and lizards and such. Just interested because I’m wondering how close you get to some of your subjects or if you use a telephoto lens.

I am from the northwest where not too many animals are capable of killing anything. My puppy like to nose around and act a fool, putting every thing in his mouth. I was wondering if it is common in the Southwest, where there are lots of venomous critters, for puppies to die because of them.
