Sunset in a Cloudy Sky

I love the warmth of this photo of the sun setting in the cloudy sky.

I’ve often wondered what Golden Creator Substance looks like.

Now I know. It’s breathtaking.

I love sunsets and sunrises, and it almost seems more magical when you have just the right amount of clouds or the right background. A very nice shot.

Beautiful sky! I like the flare, dark clouds, and golden colors.

The only bad thing is it’s over-exposed. Too many of the clouds go to pure white, while none of the clouds get close to black. Check your camera’s histogram after taking photos; this one’s histogram would have trailed off to the right while being empty on the left.

The powerful sun and it’s surrounding looks…so calm. Can we preserve our beautiful atmosphere as it is now forever…?

Thanks for the beautiful comment at my blog.

@RunningWolf: I took this shot outside of my apartment in Scottsdale, AZ during the monsoon season of 2006 I think.

@Richard X. Thripp: I will have to try that. I have an older digital SLR camera (4MP). Hopefully it has that option. :)

@Dilasari: I wish everyone would do more to help the atmosphere and environment. It looks like things are gearing towards that, and hopefully we will be able to do it!

@kuanhoong: Your photos are beautiful. That is just the kind of place I’d like to be about now!

@yaseen, irtiza, mad, Jaffer, Christopher, Vered, Sire, Mermaid, Dan, Daniel, and zunnur: Thanks for the lovely compliments! :)
