I really face the same problem after upgrade and it seems there is no solution for the problem as of now, every time I make posts from autosaved drafts which takes me a little longer to publish my articles.

On my personal blog after I upgraded to wordpress 2.9 I’ve noticed that whenever I try to hit the “empty spam” button if there is more than 150 comments in there, it will time out after doing about 150 of them, its quite strange, still not sure why its happening Still happens after i updated to 2.9.1

Yikes! Thankfully I’ve never seen this message as I don’t normally back up my WordPress blog before doing an upgrade…naughty me!

Kristi, any insights on the rapid release of WP 2.9.1 so close on the heels of WP 2.9? Did you have any issues with 2.9 and have you upgraded to 2.9.1 yet?

Auto-upgrading plugins is a hit-and-miss experience for me, as they usually fail; so I follow Kim’s advice and do wordpress version upgrades manually.

That said, I’ve heard (after upgrading to 2.9) there are about a dozen bugs that a 2.9.1 is in the works, if not ready already.
