This is on my list of places to visit. I’m a huge fan of military history and machinery. It’s usually one of the first things I look for when traveling. Funny I spent part of my honeymoon visiting a war ship, the HMS Belfast in London.

I am right there with Mike, the minute I saw the first picture I couldn’t click the title fast enough. Excellent pictures, on a day like today it feels good to step back and see pictures like these.

Can’t wait to see the Wedding site. as I chant…. “Is it done yet? Is it done yet?”

@Michael: It was very interesting. I have a new found respect for anyone who can run up and down those narrow stairs inside those ships.

@Extreme John: Actually, we just got our official wedding photos today. So hopefully, in the next week or so, I’ll have everything ready!

Great shots kristi. Just checked out that camera, and lit looks really nice. I don’t think it’s an SLR camera though, is that correct?

That last photo I thought was of you posing with the sailor and then I noticed the miniaturized people :D

The pictures of the battleship are awesome, but what I like is the sculpture. From a distance, it looks like a real couple. Only when you see the close up with the “miniature” people at the base, can you tell it’s not a real sailor kissing a real nurse. Whoever conceived and executed that did a great job.

Is the sculpture supposed to be based on the famous photograph?

Your soulmates website is really neat. I especially like the Coronado Island picture. I wish you continued happiness. Keep working on it!
