Michael from TheBloggerSource May 7, 2009 at 10:34 pm: This is on my list of places to visit. I’m a huge fan of military history and machinery. It’s usually one of the first things I look for when traveling. Funny I spent part of my honeymoon visiting a war ship, the HMS Belfast in London.

Keith from Norman Rockwell Art October 26, 2009 at 10:54 am: The pictures of the battleship are awesome, but what I like is the sculpture. From a distance, it looks like a real couple. Only when you see the close up with the “miniature” people at the base, can you tell it’s not a real sailor kissing a real nurse. Whoever conceived and executed that did a great job.

Is the sculpture supposed to be based on the famous photograph?

Your soulmates website is really neat. I especially like the Coronado Island picture. I wish you continued happiness. Keep working on it!
