@Will: I use it sparingly, but it does make everyone laugh as it seems to be pretty rarely said these days. :)

Nincompoops is a great funny word. I think for me though its not necessarily what I say, but how I say it. For instance, if I am using sarcasm, pretty much everything I say is funny, to me, and it usually makes my wife laugh too, which is good :D

@AngieSS - The Urban dictionary has it: http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=scrumdillyumptious&defid=1145712

@Hugh - I think I've called people nincompoops before!

I've always smiled after hearing the word: "Nincompoop" - which means someone who is silly (http://twurl.nl/nktk5m).

I rarely hear it said nowadays, but there are several words like that (like "fiddlesticks").

scrum-dilly-icious

I have no idea where this word comes from. I've been saying it forever. Every time I eat something really yummy. I think it is a mix of: scrumptious, delightful, and delicious. May even be from some movie I saw in my childhood.

There are certain words, certain music, certain memories that can put you in a different and better frame of mind. I love how you've identified 'words' as a tool to shift a mood.

Here's my favorite word - excuse the spelling:
SuperCalaFragalisticExpialaDocious. Oh, and another one...Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

Both from great movies!

Thanks for the timely reminder.
