I am about to launch an interesting contest in my weblog and so confused about marketing and tracking process. Need to sit and workout in detail. You shared some great tips to consider to get some more success 😛

Thanks a ton and like to read more …

Good luck with your contest! I think most people are just tracking things like tweet counts, Facebook shares, and comments. It’s hard work, but well worth it for the attention and traffic you’ll end up getting Robin!

It’s amazing how many new things I learn every day. I look at the Internet as a video game. Every day there is something new to discover & conquer.

There’s always new things to learn, which means there’s always new things for me to write. It’s a good exchange Jennifer! :)

I do remember that being a special request Brankica. Some people don’t let me know that they’ve posted something, so I don’t get a chance to promote it until late. This way I can just do quick roundup so no one misses anything. :)

Hey Kristi, I’ve only just found your site (I know, where have I been) I’ve already learned so much from you. I just wish I had more time to build up my wee blog.

Love your lists, reading the post about SEO vs Social – Really awesome.

And your post on Unbounce was like.. mind blowing. Eh, you’re just stellar.

    LOL! Ryan.

Thanks Ramcel! I could go for both, but an iPad is what I really need for starters – super easy to carry around and ready to rock where ever I am. :)

Excellent idea to share your guest posts with us, Kirsti!

I had a really hard time finding your articles, but now you made it easier. :)

Best of luck on winning the iPad!

Thanks Eugen! Yes, I felt a bit weird doing an “all me” post like this, but at the same time, I figure if I’m not writing these posts for my audience here, I should still be sharing them as they are helpful too. :)

It amazes me how you write all these quality stuff and still have time to run your own blog. You must be writing in your sleep!

Now that there are 3 iPads to be won, does it mean that the first 3 people will get one each? It’s great that you have a week left for promotion and you are already in the lead. You can only get better and I wish you luck in your second week of promotion.

I am suffering badly from social media burnout. I started to play around with Google+ and the circles…and I think I might pack it in. I saw my MySpace profile for the first time in a year today on a Google Alert, someone had spammed it. Made me realize that in just 2 years I have gone from MySpace to Twitter to Facebook to G+ and none of it really contributes to the income side of the equation.

Thought I find it fascinating that the internal links from the G+ profiles are very high page rank…are they bribing internet marketers to be early adopters?

This is a great list. It’s really helpful that you’re bringing Google+ to everyone’s attention. It’s growing incredibly fast, so it’s a good idea to get familiar with it now in order to keep up with it in the future.

Also, the article on how to get your blog into search engines is really great. That’s a big obstacle for a lot of people.

Kikolani don’t you think that the posts of SEO are little outdated I mean almost everyone know what is the worth of Google and where Bing stands :). You won my heart for writing the post how to market on Google + I was sick of reading Google+ and Facebook Comparisons. Hey! Their are very little guides for utilizing the power of linked in why don’t you write something on it
