Photo of the Week

This week’s top photo comes from Gold King Mine Ghost Town in Jerome, Arizona – the place where I discovered my love of not eating chicken, but photographing them! This was taken with my Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS8 and edited in Adobe Lightroom.

I like the chicken pic Kristi. I’ve been to Jerome a couple of time and I really dig it there. It’s a fun place to spend at least a couple of hours.

I also lived on Kauai for three years, which has feral chickens everywhere. I awoke many a morning early to the crow of a rooster right under my window.

Love the list as always Kristi!

The post is something I never miss and am sure to bookmark- to read through the weekend!

The picture of the chicken or cock is absolutely awesome- bright and clear- almost alive! And the video of the baby sloth is adorable. Love it 🙂

Thanks for sharing and have a nice weekend as well 🙂

Hi Kristi,

I always love your roundups! I can’t wait to check out the guys guide to pinterest (even though I’m clearly not a guy!) I just joined yesterday and I have to say that I really like it!

I love the picture and the video! Thanks for sharing!
