Photo of the Week

This week’s top photo came from from inside the Bellagio in Las Vegas. Beautiful Chihuly glass lines the ceiling creating an extraordinary lighting and affect when you’re zoomed in closely.

Best Wedding Video Ever

This is hands down the best wedding video ever. If I had it to do all over again, I would most certainly hire this person for their creative ideas and video editing skills. I’m sure you’ll want to too once you’ve seen this. Genius. Pure Genius. Love the dress too! 🙂

LOL!!! That video is definitely Лучшее свадебное видео за всю историю свадеб (The best wedding video in history ever)! So romantic! And I LOVE the photo, it is magical.

On a more serious note, thanks for sharing your mashup, because it’s amazing as always. It’s great how everyone is posting better posts every week.

Hi Kristi,

As usual an excellent mashup and lot of material to explore on next days for me. I’ll read your guest post on Kissmetrics and several SEO articles.

Also the Reddit article, I couldn’t figure out its working till now, it seems that blogging/social media articles aren’t preferred by its community. Perhaps it’s good for other tech niches. Then I prefer using SU 🙂

Fantastic colorful photo!

Ejnoy a great weekend 🙂

Reddit has a certain kind of taste Gera. I think, either in the posts or in the comments, they talk about what kind of campaigns you have to run to be successful there. That or you have to go with the ads. 🙂

К сожалению, Кристи, но я не понимаю, почему вы думаете, что это видео является настолько удивительным. Аккуратные использование графики, но кроме этого, нет ничего особенного (для меня).

I thought you’d like more, though.

Thanks for linking to the opting in/out articles, by the way! 🙂

It’s just amusing Ari. Like someone discovered video effects for the first time and had to incorporate all of them for this. Who can resist being knocked out by someone blowing kisses at you?

I kind of like the idea of a surprise wedding though – she didn’t have to go through any of the “bridal stress” that the rest of us did. 🙂

Hi Kristi, Fetching Friday is one of my favorite things about Friday. I don’t know anywhere else on the web where you can find such a quality, hand picked collection of articles that ALL have value to such a wide range of people. You have created the gold standard of pertinent information mashups for bloggers across the whole spectrum of niches and interests. I guess that makes you the mashup queen 🙂

Thanks Jonathan! 🙂 I’m just happy to be the influence behind so many other great lists out there – I see new ones popping up all the time and find new posts that even I missed on them which goes to show just how valuable they can be!

My favorite post this week is “5 ways to keep yourself from starting a new blog.” I always have this urge!!! The advice is excellent.

The feature photo is mesmerizing and beautiful. It looks like sea anemones.

A heartfelt thank you for including my post on overcoming digital overwhelm. I put my heart and soul into that post and I truly hope it helps others.

Love that pic! I’m really really REALLY into photography lately. I know nothing about it, don’t have a cool camera and have never really gone out to take pictures, but I can really appreciate the whole thing and would love to take the time to learn. Capturing meaningful stuff really rocks.

Great list as usual, I’m gonna check out a lot of the SEO stuff because I’m heavily immersed in doing some SEO for a new project I’m working on. Thanks for the great stuff, as usual, and I hope you’re feeling better!

I recently read Danny’s post on Klout and realized many things just then. I hate opt out system and that is why most people hate Facebook for. On a side note I am seeing people being labelled influential on crazy topics (those people, I know clearly at what they’re influential!).

I was actually looking at buying stickers to promote my site today. I could buy 250 for $20 or so from some website, but now I’m thinking about ordering fliers instead. The prices are similar and both products will be catchy for promotion around the neighborhood and at some conventions.

And by the way, I love the picture of the week! I’ve been in the Bellagio and I’ve never seen that but it looks so cool! If the original picture was larger I’d set it as my desktop background. hmm, maybe I’ll make it my Android Wallpaper.

Great links. I’ll be sure to check them out. Found a lot of good tips about social media and blogging, which I need =D

And I like that something is being said about ‘Sites that make profiles about you’, it can be pretty annoying. Though I kinda liked what Klout has been saying about me XD , never know where I can find my face or logo these days.

Hi Kristi, that video was pretty good but what really impressed me was the photo of Bellagio’s chandelier. That really brought back memories of my trip to the States.

Las Vegas was a real eye opener. I particularly liked the Bellagio fountains and Caesar’s Palace moving statues. I wouldn’t mind going back again as I didn’t see all it had to offer.
