Search & Social Awards – Last Day to Vote

I’m sure you didn’t miss it, but in case you did, today this weekend is the last chance to vote for Kikolani plus your favorite blogs on SEO, SMM, PPC, social media, affiliate marketing, and other topics in the Search & Social Awards. If you don’t know the nominees, check out the post I wrote earlier on my favorite picks from the list of nominees.

    Coming Up on Kikolani

Since I got a little sidetracked this week, next week I will have the guest post on how to self promote on social media without being a narcissist, and also one on how to write for the web. Stay tuned!

    Hi Kristi
This is some list and all set out under catagories.
Didn’t know where to start so I took a look at…
“9 quick and easy WordPress SEO tips”
Great information, I’m always looking for SEO tips.

Going to take me some time to check out some of the others… better get started.

    Kristi,

Great list, thanks for sharing. I really like the twitter and SEO links. I need to find some time over the weekend to read those. They look like they will be a good read…

Must admit that was one of the best videos I’ve seen for getting you to wear your seat belt. It was put together really well.

A great roundup as usual Kristi, and thanks so much for including one of my posts 🙂

I agree. Hopefully the message goes through to more people. I still see so many people drive around without buckling up.

    Thanks for the links, Kristi.

    Till then,

    Jean

Wow great clip although there smiles were pretty weird haha.

I have some serious trouble finding sites for guest posts in a few of my niches. I like guest posting a lot cause it gives me great backlinks and on top of that targeted traffic.
The guide “find blogs to guest post for” helped me out thanks for sharing.

Thanks for your mashup, good to know you use SU. I used to get a lot of traffic from them, but usage and traffic from SU seems to have really dropped off.

Anyway, I’ve seen a number of blogs use this posting format where they include a youtube video after their post, even if the post isn’t about videos or even directly related to the video. Just wondering why?

The “for the readers” reason is the video at the end of these posts is just a little something extra – sometimes it fits with the topics above, and sometimes they are just random. The “for the website” purpose is to keep people on the site longer. 🙂

Do you find and add the video’s manually browsing youtube or do you have some way to speed up the process of which video to add to the post.

    thanks,jb

    Hi Kristi,
As usual your Fetching Friday post rocks- so many great resources form awesome bloggers out there. I definitely want to check out the WordPress security post and actually several others.
Thanks so much for linking to the firewall post 😉
Stumbled, facebooked, tweeted , delicioused, and dugg.
    All the best,
    Eren
