Photo of the Week

This week’s top photo came from the snowy Grand Canyon this past weekend. It may have been only 0 degrees, but it was worth it to come back with such beautiful images!

Hi Kristi,

Another great list. Thank you for including the “blogging saboteurs” post this week! I love the picture and the other post I was drawn is the one about ‘social media questions you’re too shy to ask” by hubspot. Great idea for a post..

Hi Kristi,

Another great list as always… I have never not taken at least one amazing article away from this list…

I know you probably don’t take submissions but I’d love for you check my site out http://www.RyanHanley.com where I talk about Business Blogging and Content Marketing (and Insurance which is my business). I’m relatively new to the scene but if you see anything that you think is worthwhile it would be an honor to be included.

Thank you!

Ryan H.

I see a fault with the the blog post about organizing a messy sidebar. Remember that as of 2007, making a link ‘nofollow’ doesn’t mean that you can sculpt pagerank with it. You’re not voting for the linked-to site, but your other links won’t get more link juice. That link will still decrease the value of other links on your page (as pagerank going to each linked page is distributed among all links, not just dofollowed links).

Matt Cutts wrote an article on this and I have a picture somewhere in one of my blog articles. It just gives you something to think about in addition to that article 🙂

Hi Kristi!

You’ve got such an amazing fetching-friday post. It’s awesome to read from here as always. I hope I can read more interesting facts and articles here in this very cool and fabulous site! Happy Holidays!

Kristi,
Those are absolutely stunning photos. You’ve got quite the trade for taking photos. I can already sense some stock photo credibility in your work. Do you think you might pursue this or already doing it?
Until next time, adieu and all the best!

Hi Kristi,

I thought the article by Rand Fishkin on proving trust on the web was a really good one. So many people simply focus on driving traffic to their website or blog but don’t think about what is going to happen once users arrive. If you have a site that users distrust then you will be fighting an uphill battle.

Hi Kristi,

Thanks a lot for sharing those great resources. I recently had some performance problems with my blog and the tips provided in the “How to Know Which Plugins are Killing Your Site’s Performance ” post helped me to solve most of the problems.

Thanks a lot

Robert

As usual, it is just awesome and cool. I like the photo so much as I am looking forward to have some snow in my area. The post about the life lesson from Richard Branson is just cool. I like this person a lot and I admire his desire to live and to create and to be active all the time.

That was quite a bit of reading material that you posted! I’m about 3/4 of the way through it (I’m up to your social media / networking section). I know I better hurry and finish before your next post. Thank you for such a good list!!
